COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ohio moms are sending some life-saving support to babies in Haiti.
About 500 ounces of donated breast milk in 140 bottles were shipped out Wednesday morning from the Mother's Milk Bank of Ohio, in Victorian Village.
It's one of ten milk banks located in North America.
By Thursday evening, the shipment will have reached the USS Comfort Naval Hospital, set just off the coast of Haiti.
The breast milk is for preemies and medically fragile babies.
Quick International Courier of Columbus donated all of the dry ice and packing supplies, and is paying for the transport.
