Severe Storms Possible
The atmosphere over the region is very unstable. Dewpoints are in the 70s, cold air has moved in aloft, and we have good sources of lifting energy. We are looking for storms to fire up late afternoon and evening. Conditions are favorable for any storms that develop to become severe. The primary threats will be large hail and damaging winds.
