Fiesta de los Reyes Expanding

This year the party is getting bigger at Fiesta de los Reyes.
On Tuesday officials announced that the ten day Fiesta event will expand in market square to have even more booths and space.
Fiesta de los Reyes will have four stages for live music and food booths.
The idea for the expansion is to bring in more money.
"The larger event the more revenue we make the more revenue the city is able to share as well as more scholarship money," said Frank Garza, co-director of the event.
Fiesta de los Reyes kicks off with the rest of Fiesta on April 19.

Houston man shot in head trying to help woman

HOUSTON (AP) -- A Houston man was shot in the head after he confronted another man who had dragged his wife out of a nail salon during a domestic dispute.
The Houston Chronicle (http://bit.ly/12M9Q8m ) reported two men confronted the husband on a sidewalk outside the salon where the wife worked. They tried to restrain the husband.
Assistant chief deputy for a Harris County Constable's Office Woody Mitchell told the newspaper that during the struggle on Friday, the woman's husband opened fire with a handgun, wounding one of the men.
The woman's husband has been arrested.
The wounded man was taken to a Houston hospital.
