Hurd Still In Custody
Sam Hurd's Dallas-based attorney tells Max Sports that the former Brack and NFL star is still behind bars, after being picked-up last week for violating the terms of his bond in a federal drug trafficking case.

Hurd's attorney, Jay Ethington, says attempts to get Hurd out of jail were unsuccessful on Friday, and that Hurd's bond revocation hearing will take place within three days of his arrival in Dallas.

Ethington says that as of this afternoon, Hurd still wasn't in Dallas, and could either be sitting in jail in San Antonio, or actually on his way to Dallas.

For security reasons, Hurd's defense team won't know when he's in Dallas until after he's been transported.

Hurd's trial for two separate federal drug charges takes place in Dallas in October.  A judge in San Antonio refused to release Hurd last week after he twice tested positive for marijuana while out on bond.Hurd Still In Custody
