While schools like UTSA, Texas A&M and TCU, just to name a few, have switched conferences in the last couple of years, several Texas programs like Rice have stayed stayed put...and that's just fine with them. Hector Ledesma chatted with the school's athletic director this week during the programs stop on it's annual "Owls Caravan," and Rick Greenspan pulls no punches about his university's place within the NCAA and why the Owls aren't appreciated enough.

Storms Subside For Now
What a day! Strong thunderstorms with heavy flooding rains slowly pushed in this morning and dumped between 5-10 inches of rain across South Texas before moving out this afternoon. Officially at the Airport we received 9.90 inches but some isolated spots got even more.
