Alamo Heights wins 4A Boys State Soccer Championship
Alamo Heights showed tons of fight against Wichita Ralls Rider in a state title match that went into overtime tied at one. After the Raiders scored first, the Mules answered right back to force a shoot-out. Diego Hernandez. Alek Strimple and Luke Donnelly scored on their kicks while goalkeeper Zack Jones made three great saves for the Mules. Alamo Heights wins it's second soccer title in school history; this season actually marked the 25th anniversary of their first one back in 1987.
