Jinks leaves Steele for Texas Tech
When you've coached in the US Army All American Bowl, won a state title and been to the Final 4 three years in a row, it's probably time for a new challenge, so Steele head football coach Mike Jinks is making the jump to the college ranks. Jinks will join Kliff Kingsbury's staff at Texas Tech as running backs coach.
Jinks had an amazing run guiding the Knights over the last 3 years, with just 3 losses during that time frame.
Scott Lehnoff, first assistant football coach for Steele, will serve as interim Athletic Coordinator/Head Coach at Steele until a permanent replacement is found.
