UNDATED (AP) -- The New York Knicks didn't just end the Dallas Mavericks' 13-game win streak. They demolished it. The Knicks marched into Reunion Arena and stunned the Mavs, 128-94. The Knicks made 16 of their 30 three-point tries and shot 56.2 percent overall from the field.

Bill Walker made five of his eight three-point tries and led six Knicks in double figures with 23.

In the rest of the NBA:

-- J.R. Smith scored 19 of his 30 points in the second half, rallying the Denver Nuggets to a 125-108 victory over Memphis. That's the Nuggets' sixth straight win.

-- Joe Johnson scored 26 and the Atlanta Hawks built a 28-point lead, holding off Detroit's late comeback, 112-99.

-- Dwight Howard's 28 points and 15 rebounds led the streaking Orlando Magic past Washington 109-95 for its eighth straight win.

-- Luis Scola scored a career-high 44 points and grabbed 12 rebounds and the Houston Rockets beat the New Jersey Nets 116-108.

-- San Antonio routed the L.A. Clippers 118-88. Matt Bonner had 21 off the bench for the Spurs.

NHL-LATEST SCORES

SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) -- In the NHL, the Philadelphia Flyers pulled out a dramatic victory over the Chicago Blackhawks thanks to last second heroics from Chris Pronger. With just 2.1 seconds remaining on the clock, the big defenseman laced the puck past a diving Cristobal Huet , giving the home team a come-from-behind 3-2 win.

In other NHL action:

-- Montreal solidified its grip on seventh place in the East by holding off eighth-place Boston, 3-2. Two goals for Sergei Kostitsyn. The Habs have won five straight and six of seven since the Olympic break.

-- Andy McDonald had a goal and two assists and the St. Louis Blues scored three times in the second period to beat the Columbus Blue Jackets 5-1.

-- Brian Rafalski scored a power-play goal 31 seconds into overtime, lifting the Detroit Red Wings to a 3-2 victory over Buffalo to move into the eighth spot in the Western Conference.

-- Jon Sim and Mark Streit scored 50 seconds apart in the second period against New Jersey backup goalie Yann Danis, and the New York Islanders snapped a four-game losing streak with a 4-2 victory over the Devils.

-- Ilya Bryzgalov made 29 saves for his NHL-leading eighth shutout, and Lee Stempniak and Martin Hanzel each scored twice to help the Phoenix Coyotes blank Carolina, 4-0.

-- Bryan Allen scored with 2:14 left in OT as Florida rallied from a two-goal deficit to beat San Jose 3-2. It's the fourth win in five games for the Panthers and their first win in 10 years in San Jose.

-- In a battle of last-place teams, Toronto beat Edmonton 6-4 for its third straight win. Phil Kessel had two goals and an assist.

COLLEGE BASKETBALL TOURNAMENTS-LATEST SCORES

KANSAS CITY, Kan. (AP) -- Top-ranked Kansas beat ninth-ranked Kansas State for the third time this season, whipping the Wildcats 72-64 for the Big 12 tournament title. In all likelihood, the Jayhawks locked up one of the four No. 1 seeds in the 65-team NCAA tournament field that will be announced Sunday. Marcus Morris led the Jayhawks with 18. Sherron Collins was named most outstanding player of the Big 12 tournament and scored 12 points and seven assists in the championship game.

In other tournament action:

-- No. 2 Kentucky beat 15th-ranked Tennessee 74-45 to advance to its accustomed spot in the Southeastern Conference tournament championship game. DeMarcus Cousins had 19 points and 15 rebounds for the Wildcats, while Eric Bledsoe had 17 points on 5-of-8 shooting from 3-point range. Kentucky will play Mississippi State for the SEC title tomorrow. Mississippi State upset 20th-ranked Vanderbilt 62-52 to reach the SEC title game.

-- Kyle Singler scored 27 points to help fourth-ranked Duke push ahead in the second half to beat Miami 77-74 in Saturday's Atlantic Coast Conference tournament semifinals. Georgia Tech will take on Duke in the ACC title game after a 57-54 win over North Carolina State. Derrick Favors had 17 points and eight rebounds for the Yellow Jackets.

-- Evan Turner scored 12 of his 31 points after regulation, leading No. 5 Ohio State past Illinois 88-81 in double overtime in a Big Ten tournament semifinal. The Illini had two chances to win at the buzzer but failed to get off shots both times, giving Turner a chance to dominate the second overtime.

-- Minnesota held No. 6 Purdue to the worst first half in the Boilermakers' record books and rolled to a 69-42 victory in the Big Ten's other semifinal. The Golden Gophers will play No. 5 Ohio State for the championship.

-- No. 17 Temple held Rhode Island to its lowest point total in five years and beat them 57-44 in an Atlantic 10 Conference tournament semifinal. Ryan Brooks scored 16 points for the top-seeded Owls.

-- Richmond will take on Temple for the Atlantic 10 Conference title, after beating No. 24 Xavier, 89-85. Kevin Anderson scored 27 points and David Gonzalvez added 26 in the semifinals of the Atlantic 10 Conference tournament.

-- Houston surged past No. 25 UTEP down the stretch to claim its first NCAA tournament berth in 18 years with an 81-73 victory in the Conference USA tournament title game. Kelvin Lewis scored 28 points to lead the Cougars.

In other conference tournament finals and automatic bids:

-- Quincy Pondexter scored 18, Isaiah Thomas added 16 and Washington rallied from a late deficit to win the Pac-10 tournament with a 79-75 victory over California.

-- Kawhi Leonard scored 16 points, grabbed a career-best 21 rebounds and sank all eight of his free throws in the final two minutes as San Diego State fended off UNLV 55-45 to win the Mountain West Conference.

-- Ohio won the Mid-American Conference by outlasting Akron 81-75 in overtime. Freshman D.J. Cooper scored 23 points and made three big plays in OT for the ninth-seeded Bobcats, the lowest seed to ever win the MAC title.

-- Orlando Johnson had 20 points, five rebounds and four assists to lead UC Santa Barbara to a 69-64 victory over Long Beach State for the Big West tournament crown.

-- Marqus Blakely scored 24 points as Vermont beat Boston University 83-70. The Catamounts' America East championship gives them an automatic NCAA tournament bid.

-- Morgan State is headed to the big dance for the second year in a row. Kevin Thompson had 18 points and 10 rebounds as the Bears beat South Carolina State 68-61 to capture the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference title.

-- Arkansas-Pine Bluff earned its first NCAA tournament berth by beating Texas Southern 50-38 on Saturday in the Southwestern Athletic Conference championship game.

-- Gilberto Clavell scored 21 points to lead Sam Houston State to an easy 64-48 win over Stephen F. Austin for the Southland Conference tournament championship. The win gives Sam Houston State its second NCAA tournament berth.

Texas A&M hands Nebraska first loss of season

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -- Danielle Adams had 22 points while No. 11 Texas A&M forced Kelsey Griffin to the bench with early foul trouble and spoiled No. 3 Nebraska's unbeaten season with an 80-70 victory in the semifinals of the Big 12 tournament.

Top-ranked UConn at 33-and-0 is the only unbeaten team heading to the NCAA tournament.

WGC-CA CHAMPIONSHIP

DORAL, Fla. (AP) -- Ernie Els and Charl Schwartzel are tied for the lead going into the final round at the CA Championship that now has a distinctive South African flavor.

They are tied at 12-under 204. But they have plenty of company.

Ireland's Padraig Harrington ended his streak of 26 holes without a bogey when he three-putted the final hole for a 67, putting him one shot behind. Robert Allenby of Australia shot a 71 and is two shots out of the lead.

PGA-PUERTO RICO OPEN

RIO GRANDE, Puerto Rico (AP) -- Chad Collins tops the Puerto Rico Open leaderboard at 9 under before second-round play was suspended because of darkness in the rain-delayed PGA Tour event. Paul Stankowski, Jeff Overton and Jhonattan Vegas are one shot back during various stages of their second round.

The 2009 Horse of the Year was racing for the first time in more than six months in what was expected to be a warm-up for a showdown with Zenyatta at the Apple Blossom at Oaklawn in April.

ARCADIA, Calif. (AP) -- Meanwhile, Zenyatta won the $250,000 Santa Margarita Handicap by 1 1/4 lengths, extending her career victory streak to 15-and-0.

The 6-year-old mare trailed a field of seven rivals going a mile and an eighth in her season debut before unleashing her trademark late run to win under Hall of Fame jockey Mike Smith.
