URBAN-15's annual "Holiday Laser Show" is a multimedia spectacular of choreographed laser beams, animation and light effects performed to holiday music favorites and carols, including favorites like "Carol of the Bells" and lesser known favorites like "I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas."
This spectacle, a forty-five-minute presentation, is a family-oriented show with colorful 3D animations and a stunning aerial beam display, making it one the most unique holiday celebrations in San Antonio!
The URBAN-15 Group is excited to announce that we will be accepting reservations from elementary schools around San Antonio for our twelve free showings of our annual Holiday Laser Show, which will happen Tuesday-Friday, December 4th-7th at 9:30 AM, 10:45 AM, and 1:30 PM.
When school principals and administrators call the studio at 736-1500 and provide contact information for their school, they can reserve a max of 150 children for as many shows as they like.
For example, you can reserve 150 children for one laser show (which is a full house), or you can reserve 50 children for three shows, or you can reserve 12 children for all 12 shows. A note to administrators: the laser show itself is free, but we ask that you provide your own transportation to the studio, located at 2500 S. Presa.
Reservations will be taken from September 3rd to October 12th, 2012. For a preview of the show, check out URBAN-15's youtube page at www.youtube.com/user/theurban15group.
URBAN-15 will also host four Holiday Laser Shows with paid admission on Thursday Dec. 6th at 7 pm, Friday Dec. 7th at 7 pm, and Saturday Dec. 8th at 2 pm and 7 pm. Admission is $10 for general admission, $6 for military, artists, students, and seniors, and $4 for children 12 and under.
URBAN-15 is a San Antonio-based non-profit arts group that creates educational programs, events, and performances dedicated to music, movement, and media. Our mission is to produce original works that satisfy our community's need to experience artistic excellence.
