A three-alarm fire destroyed a northeast side warehouse Friday morning.
The San Antonio Fire Department said more than 100 firefighters battled the fire, which broke out around 4:30 a.m. on Ball Street near Loop 410 and Interstate 35.
The warehouse belongs to Bee Trucking, and officials said several electrical transformers exploded, adding more fuel to the fire which already had plenty of shipping pallets keeping the fire going.
Fire officials also said several trucks near the warehouse were also destroyed.
Residents of a nearby motel were evacuated as large plumes of black smoke filled the air.
The fire department says no one was injured.
