Comment: These ordinances are meant to sell the public more product. The store makes money selling canvas bags (that carry bacteria), and then sell you dog poop bags or small garbage bags made of plastic. They make money coming and going. by David

Comment: Absolutely not! I had my back broken in Vietnam and walk with a cane. Plastic bags let me carry several bags in my free hand; paper bags would be one only. I re-use plastic bags to haul other things; when they wear out I recycle them. Cloth bags are breeding grounds for bacteria and fungi, and expensive. If it ain't broke; don't fix it by Bob
