Comment: i think they should allow them to be OPENLY gay in the boyscout's organizaton. there has been controversy for many,many years within this group about this issue.it's only been kept hush-hush. i noticed 25 years ago when my little brother was a scout.both scouts and leaders. heck i thought some of the dad's were too. but it has been there so why keep a lid on it. many young boys and young men struggle with their sexuality and this may be a comfortable way for them to be open and learn about the inner struggles of being gay by role models who understand. btw, i'm a hetero mom of 5, none of whom are gay, but,i condone role models for everyone in whatever they struggle to understand. by rashonda
