Has the payroll tax increase caused a burden for your family?

92.85% Yes
7.14% No

Comment: For President Obama this does not even phase him, why is that because he is not paying these increases like the middle class is. He promised during his campaign no tax increases for middle class, he is not even inaugurated for his 2nd term and promise is already broken. How can we trust a president that does this to us?? by Lynn

Comment: I am a salaried employee and my check in now 95.00 less per month because of the PR tax. 95.00 a month may not sound like a lot to most people but to a family with only one income it hurts. At the end of last year I had 125.oo left each month after paying all bills and buying groceries and gas. Do the math I only have 30 dollars left for the month. What is 30.00 for a family of three. by Mary

Comment: Every penny counts. ..I will see $50 less a month. That's about two days of groceries or two weeks of gas for me.

Comment: I only get paid once a month and it sucks I'm a housekeeper at UTHSCSA by Over

Comment: I was shocked. I checked my check stub because I was sure they'd made a mistake! Really Frustrating. Hard to make ends meet and then this? by laura

Comment: yes like in your story that is a couple of bags of food or a almost full tank of gas! in this economy every penny6 counts! I think congress and the senate should have taken a pay cut. by edward
