Do You Think All First-time DWI Offenders Should Have to Get Ignition Interlocks in Their Cars?

69.23% YES
30.76% NO

Comment: Absolutely. As a Patrol Officer I observed many prior DWI offenders commit the same offense again. by Kenneth

Comment: My daughter has to use interlock because of her husband. She has never even had one drink of alcohol. by M

Comment: I think it would eliminate a lot of first time offenders. If you're gonna drink and drive you're gonna pay the price! by Patricia

Comment: Just because they happened to get caught once driving under the influence, doesn't mean they haven't done so before or won't do it again. Plus the interlock system will not only prevent these offenders from getting behind the wheel while drunk, but will also hit them where it hurts....their wallet! by Jon

Comment: Don't know if it would work. I believe if your DWI & guilty of manslaughter you should get the death penalty. Drunks are given too many chances.

Comment: Everyone makes mistakes come on put a device that shuts down the idiots texting and driving they r more dangerous then dwi by Alfred
