Comment: You have to show an ID to sell copper scrap, so why not to vote! by Joe
Comment: If you don't have an ID, you have PLENTY of time to get one in time for you to cast your ballot. If you say it's a matter of not enough money, you have 3 months to save the money needed to get the ID. If voting is that much of a priority to you, you will find a way! by John

Comment: ANYBODY CAN GO AND GET AN ID MADE...YOU DON'T HAVE TO HAVE A DRIVERS LICENSE, JUST A RIDE TO A DPS OFFICE. I THINK THIS IS FAIR AND SHOULD BE ENFORCED!! by JANICE
Comment: This is not discriminatory in any way. The only people this law would inconvenience are the ones who want to cheat in the elections; for example voting using a person's name who has been deceased for some time. The law would make politicians be more honest and that is why particular people are crying foul. by Dottie

Comment: Voting is a privilege & earned. Too much corruption when it comes to voting i.e.people casting votes with dead people's names. Our poor military can't even vote if they are not in the states & they want to allow ILLEGALS to vote. Give me a break!
Comment: anybody who does want to show an photo id card could have some dishonest intent or prejudice or just plain ignorant. by chief5
