Comment: When visiting the Alamo the Alamo Rangers tell you to remove your hat when entering the Chapel to show proper respect. Serving alcohol at the Alamo would be like serving it at Church. Also many children visit the shrine making serving alcohol inappropriate. The Alamo is within walking distance of the Riverwalk where an abundance of alcohol can be purchased. by Jim
