Was the Iraq War a Success?

52.17% Yes
47.82% No

Comment: I don't think you can call it a success when it's a war that has ran our national dept into oblivion. by Zach

Comment: Even though it was our war it think the vet of there did there job I am glad it over by reginia

Comment: Failure... we never found the Weapons of Mass destruction that (bush, shotgun cheney & rumsfeld used) started the war! by Jesse

Comment: Success because of the troops and the surge initiated during the Bush Administration. by C.

Comment: Anybody seen any Weapons of Mass Destruction? No? How about that yellow cake uranium? Not that either? Hmmm. Over 300,000 Iraqi civilians killed[the Iraqis in the street say it's more like 1 million]. Over 2.5 million refugees. Over a trillion dollars and over 40,000 Americans killed, or wounded. Is democracy sweeping across the Middle East? Don't think so. Yep, this was, is, and will be a fiasco. Many brave and good deeds done by our troops, but they were put in a terrible position, UNNECESSARILY. Anybody seen the $800 billion spent on the war...oh, the Chinese are holding onto to it, in the form of interest bearing bonds. Awfully nice of 'em. Glad it's in the hands of a trusted ally. by J

Comment: Yes, I the Iraq war was a success. My nephew is a fallen hero killed in Al Anbar Province in Apr 2006. He fought and sacrificed his life for his country. To say this war was not a success, would be a degradation to him and all fallen heroes. by Jeanette

Comment: No, the Iraq War was not a success because we are still giving in were backing out from something we have to finish and now we have to help build a Mosque... I dont think that is fair. by Larry

Comment: I have to think of the Iraq war as a success. My husband spent 2 1/2 years away from his family to fight for these Iraqi people. It saddens me to think of the thousands of American men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice for this war, but that is what America is all about! by Karen

Comment: we went looking for osama but found sadam we sent tropps over to iraq including myself and we never found him we lost many soilders for no reason i watched a man burn alive we should have left when bush left office by vince

Comment: Allowed citizens to get a start to their freedom in their home country. by Don

Comment: Wasn't the reason we started the war due to Weapons of Mass Destruction!! Did we find them, NO but how many thousands of our soldiers were killed in this whole stupid war?!? by Pablo
