Comment: NO!!! BOYCOTT ANYONE THAT IS NOT FOR PROTECTING AMERICA FROM ILLEGALS THAT ARE OVERRUNNING OUR COUNTRY!!! by JAN

Comment: Illegal emigrants are getting out of hand. I'm going to be moving out of San Antonio after living here all my life of 47 years. San Antonio is getting real dirty and starting to look like mexico. I'm not prejudice at all. But San Antonio is just getting to trashy with business and makeshift signs. buildings and homes being painted yellow, purples, greens, orange etc....but not in a good way. Actually I'm moving out of Texas period and moving where there is more white people plain and simple. by Bert

Comment: boycotting doing business with another state will only hurt the economy a bit more. by tracy

Comment: Absolutely not. We are a country of laws. why don't we follow and enforce the ones we have. by Fred

Comment: How about people boycotting San Antonio? by Bob

Comment: Why are these people trying to protect the people that have come here illegally? It makes no sense to protect someone that is not actually a citizen. We need to do something to protect the border, and I think that law will help. by Austin

Comment: Texas should have the same law.

Comment: Arizona's laws are none of our business. by Barbara

Comment: Absolutely ridiculous to disagree with a federal law that is being enforced by a state. And what would the crime and punishment be if the mayor went into Mexico without proper documentation...? This is all SO crazy. They are ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS. As my father-in-law says who immigrated here legally from Mexico; "They need to get in line like everyone else." by B

Comment: You are asked for ID at banks, stores, hotels.

Comment: Absolutely NOT. We should back AZ. 100% It is time for Tx to say enough freebies for illegals. by Nancy

Comment: The city council has a right to send a message to the TX legislature, but it it premature to be talking about a boycott since the TX legislature will not meet till Jan. and so we do not know what kind of resolution will be put forward. by Roger

Comment: The city council would be wise to expend their energy focusing on the problems of their own city. Until our crime, traffic, etc... is brought under control their opinions are about like a broke man giving financial advice. by Timothy

Comment: Absolutely NOT. We are Texans and Americans...our fellow Americans in AZ are being INVADED by Mexicans. We need to support them not inhibit them...Borders, Language Culture...we are AMERICA..NOT MEXICO! by COL RJ

Comment: I think that each and everyone of us should do what ever we can do to supports those who work hard to make America what it is. I support a BOYCOTT of THE STATE of Arizona. by Allison

Comment: San Antonio should stay out of other cities and states business. by John

Comment: Are you crazy that's a ridiculous idea. We are neighboring states that need to support one another in commerce as well as in the protection of our borders. by K

Comment: We "of brown skin" and dark hair MUST speak and be heard. Enough is Enough! Fear? What else can they do to us that they have not already done. "They made us many promises, more than I can remember. But they kept but one- They promised to take our land... and they took it." Chief Red Cloud by Joan

Comment: Arizona is cracking down on ILLEGAL aliens. They are in the country illegally, using U.S. taxpayer dollars. Every state should do the same. by Rob

Comment: I am Hispanic and American, I don't feel it is aimed at race. Its a question that is asked after probable cause for other things. A white person could be asked the same question. They could be from Canada. Boycott? No, we shouldn't do that. Some of the people there are Hispanics. If we boycott they could lose jobs and they had no say in the law making. While I support the Law. Boycott could be like shooting our Hispanic race in the foot if that's what all the uproar is about. by Rene

Comment: It is absurd to even think about this. by E.

Comment: ABSODARNLUTLY NOWAY JOSE! AND WE MUST HAVE THOSE SAME LAWS IN PLACE TO PROTECT ALL OF THE LEGAL CITIZENS IN OUR STATE ,ANGLO , HISPANICS , ASIANS , AND BLACKS ALL DESERVE AND SHOULD DEMAND EQUAL PROTECTION UNDER AND BY THE LAW.IT IS A SHAME SOME OF OUR CITIZENS JUST DON'T GET IT!!!THEY SEEM TO THINK THEY ARE BEING PREJUDICED AGAINST---NOT SO,THEY NEED TO THINK A LITTLE MORE AND HOLLER A LITTLE LESS. by James

Comment: What the federal gov is doing to the State of Arizona is shameful! Perhaps if the Feds did their job in enforcing border security it would not be necessary for States to take on this responsibility themselves. I think this great state of Texas should also pass laws to find and deport all illegal immigrants. I came to this country the only right and lawful way, waited years for my paperwork to be approved, all immigrants need to come and be here legally like me. by Jose

Comment: I think that we need to mind our own business, we wouldn't want Arizona telling us how to do things in Texas. by J

Comment: That is ridiculous. Those who speak of boycotting are ignorant of what their law is really saying. Illegal immigrants are that illegal. Too much is given to them already. They should become citizens the right way. by Laura

Comment: Texas needs a law just like Arizona has. Texas should support Arizona & not go against them. We could be fighting the cartails next! Texas/US jobs are few & far between as it is. Plus: As per the net-news Texas is now already receiving the spill over of undocumented workers, That are leaving states like Arizona & Oklahoma. I think EVERYONE of age, no matter what race, white, black, brown, purple or even pink, should have to prove U.S. citizenship. Or at least have to show PROPER papers. That is: "Documents that show LEGAL STATUS." Every other country in the WORLD requires people to ID themselves. What is the big deal about enforcing American Law? When I was a child it was common practice to check the citizenship box on many forms. And we were required to bring in a Birth Certificate etc, etc. Why is this not done automatically now? As in years gone past! Ms. McAllister San Antonio, Tx. by Kate

Comment: San Antonians should stand up for their heritage. Its bad enough that (Texas) Hispanics were suppressed from their own language in the past. Mexican-Americans helped build this country too, they need to stand up for their rights and quit being so passive. by Ellen

Comment: Most definitely not. Texas has as bad a problem with illegal aliens as Arizona. We may not feel the need to pass a law like Arizona has but we should support them in their attempt to do the federal government's job. Organizations like LULAC are using scare tactics to make people think they will be pulled over and questioned just because of the color of their skin. This is a pure falsehood. The Arizona law, unlike the federal immigration law that Customs and Border Patrol fall under, strictly forbids this from happening. Bottom line, do not boycott Arizona or pass any city resolution asking the Texas Legislature to not introduce any Bill like Arizona’s law. Another question must be asked. Why do organizations such as LULAC seek to undermine any sort of legislation that strengthens the security of our borders and hinders the ability of people to come across those borders illegally? by Dennis

Comment: Is San Antonio going to boycott Nebraska because one of their towns also voted to require proof of U.S. citizenship? by Karl M.

Comment: READ THE BILL. I read the bill and challenged others to find something "offensive" in the bill. Nothing was found -- and it was hispanic people reading it too. All the negative information is clearly ignorance or deliberate deception. For those who TALK about doing something, why not "do" something about the problem -- ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION. If this bill is not a good solution then PLEASE provide a solution or stop complaining. Don't make excuses -- do something to stop illegal immigration. This bill may not be an ideal solution, but at least it is doing something! For the media -- please call the people ILLEGAL ALIENS or IMMIGRANTS, not "undocumented" which is misleading. If someone came into your residence without your permission they would be there ILLEGALLY -- would you call them undocumented? What is wrong with the truth -- ILLEGAL is the correct term, please use it. by J

Comment: People here illegally should be send back to their country. If you want to come to the USA, do it legally and request entrance to the USA.

Comment: Arizona is just upholding a national law that is already there. by Judy

Comment: I believe Texas should enact a similar bill by Bill

Comment: We should Boycott Arizona to help them. The Federal Govt.is not doing it's job. We need to pass a similar law to allow our local police to help uphold the Federal law that says the same thing as Arizona's law. The boycott is stupid! Why would anybody condone breaking a law just because you disagree with it. by Clif

Comment: I think it is NOT a function of our local city government, by Jim

Comment: Texas should pass the same type of law. Those who are against it haven't read the bill or misunderstand it. Its time we stand up for AMERICAN rights. by Rick

Comment: Stop saying that San Antonio is against it! Not all of us are. What part of the word "illegal" don't you people understand??

Comment: Texans should stay out of what other states voters have approved. It could back fire on San Antonio. by Ernest

Comment: State governments have no choice but to handle the problem since the federal government refuses to take it on.

Comment: In fact, we should support them fully! It doesn't matter whether you're mexican, european, or canadian. If you are here in the U.S.A. ILLEGALLY, then you should be deported. PERIOD! It infuriates me that Homeland Security is NOT seeking deportation on the student(s) who have stolen hundreds of thousands in education from our country! by David

Comment: They have the right idea!! Too much violence on the border. Phoenix is number 2 for kidnapping in the world. by Jeff

Comment: I DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE PROBLEM WITH THE LAW, IF PEOPLE ARE NOT HERE LEGALLY THEY SHOULD BE ASKED. IF YOU ARE LEGAL YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO HIDE. THEY ARE CRIMINALS TREAT THEM ACCORDINGLY by TERRY

Comment: No we should not stop doing business with Arizona. The liberals are making this about race and it is not about race, it is about protecting our country!

Comment: I do not live in S.A. but do spend money there. I'm like the celebrities who said that if Bush won the Presidency they would leave the U.S. If S.A. boycotts Ariz. I'll take my money elsewhere and probably be missed about as much as those celebrities would have been missed. by Edward

Comment: This country was built on Freedom, Liberty and Justice for All!! Arizona is violating our freedom and liberal rights. I'm a former soldier and I'm willing to die for these rights. by Albert

Comment: Absolutely not, we have so many illegals in this country. and the borders are a big problems and getting bigger. Just wish they would come legally.

Comment: Does anyone at Fox know who Robert Krentz was? He was a 58 year old rancher, with three kids and married for 32 years who lived on his ranch in Arizona, close to the border. On March 27, 2010, he was gunned down on his property by illegal aliens crossing the border of Arizona from Mexico. Suspect have yet to be apprehended. Our southern borders are not secure. Have you forgot about the water pirates on Falcon Lake? If the president of Mexico was doing more for his people to give them a better life and protect them as he should, we would not have this problem. How many U.S. citizens are defecting to Mexico? by John

Comment: I'm from southeastern Arizona. Illegals have the rancher and farmer worried. Isn't Illegal against the LAW? by Dan

Comment: Absolutely not! by Don

Comment: The state of Arizona is merely trying to safeguard it's LEGAL population. The whole immigration thing isn't about immigration at all. It's about the security of this nation, and the enforcement of the laws of this country. by Al

Comment: Those that support a boycott of Arizona because of this law are just like all the politicians that are against this law ... they have not read the law. This law is not discriminatory, it is only enforcing the federal law that is already in place! Nobody has anything against immigration or none of us would be here unless you are Native American. Just come in legally... it's that simple. San Antonio city council has no business sticking their nose into Arizona's affairs! by Wade

Comment: Absolutely! This Arizona law will make it legal for law enforcement agencies to profile all Hispanics and it should not happen in the great state of Texas. As a U.S. veteran, of Hispanic decent we have fought for our civil rights and a racist state government will not take them away. God bless the USA! by Raul

Comment: San Antonio needs to tend to it's own business!!San Antonio and Texas should adopt the same law that Arizona did since it is already federal law that the goverment will not enforce!! by Gary

Comment: Let me get this straight. Those against the good law believe it is illegal for illegals to be illegal? by Jack

Comment: Let Arizona do what they want to do. San Antonio live like San Antonio. by Sabrina

Comment: They are trying to protect their citizens and we in Texas should do the same. Illegal means that the laws have been broken and the offenders punished. by Gary

Comment: Why punish a state that is just trying to enforce a laws that has been in effect for years?

Comment: Overall the law will make it being brown agaianst the law. by xavier

Comment: San Antonio has much bigger problems. It seems we can't go one day without hearing about some kind of gun violence or stabing. City council should focus on our own municipality and not others. by Marco

Comment: This country was created by LEGAL immigration. I am in favor of LEGAL immigration, but amnesty should not be given to anyone violating our laws. ILLEGAL immigration is a crime. Arizona is just enforcing laws that already exist. by Michael

Comment: Do you people even know what the resolution entails? How many of or your families crossed the Red River? Educate yourselves. The title of the resolution is as follows: RESOLUTION URGING TEXAS LEGISLATURE AND GOVERNOR TO REFRAIN FROM PASSING IMMIGRATION LAW by R

Comment: No San Antonio should not boycott Arizona. We should support Arizona and follow their example!! Go Arizona!!! by Connie

Comment: Phoenix knows their situation better and we do. I have read the law and it clearly requires the police to only question citizenship only after stopping a person for other illegal behavior by Glenn

Comment: Thats a different state which has their own opinion and their own public electors who make these laws. We as a state of texas should not condoned to what monkey does monkey do. by herlinda

Comment: Should not support illegal immigration in any form or fashion, but support legal immigration. Deport all illegals by Jerry

Comment: No! Texas should be enacting the same bill! If the Feds are not going to protect the American citizens then the states will have to protect their own! by

Comment: San Antonio needs to vote out the current mayor who is taking the AZ business personally. We, as Americans, MUST fight for our country and STOP the invasion that IS happening by andrea

Comment: Texas should do the same as Arizona. by Ron
