Offical Site for National Take your Daughter to Work Day at Nardis

"NTYDTTRD was founded in Jan 2012 to promote firearms safety and education, as well as family bonding through participation in an exciting and fun sport.  Our inaugural event was held Jun 9, 2012, with 37 ranges in 15 states participating.  It took thousands of volunteers, sponsors and supporters but it was worth it to see the smiles on the faces of the kids and the parents. 

We started with a focus on Daughters and an opportunity for Dads to take their girls to the range and quickly evolved into Sons and Moms, too!  The name hasnt changed, but we encourage the whole family to shoot together.  It is a great opportunity to teach the kids safe handling skills, expose them to shooting sports which they may enjoy for the rest of their lives, and do something together!

The annual event will be held the 3rd Sat in June.  We hope you will consider hosting or participating in an event near you.

Nardis Gun Club for beginner to expert

Nardis Gun Club is a new state of the art facility here in San Antonio. It is already recognized as one of the nicest gun ranges in the country.

Our facility was built as a training facility and is your home for Concealed Handgun License courses and firearms training in San Antonio.

Our emphasis on training is from beginner to expert with focus on the beginner. Our goal is to provide a comfortable and relaxed environment for the beginner to gain comfort and proficiency with firearms for their safety and the safety of others. As  a matter of fact, we have a beginner course so that people can gain a comfort level before taking the concealed handgun license course. Safety is our number one priority at Nardis, but we are relaxed enough for people to enjoy their shooting experience. We are asked a lot of questions like: Can we shoot our own ammunition? And the answer is YES, with a few common sense restrictions. Can we shoot full auto? YES, and we even rent full automatics for people to experience! Speaking of rentals"We have a terrific TRY BEFORE YOU BUY program that allows people to actually shoot and try a gun before they buy it. Since 95% of all gun purchases are completed before you get a chance to shoot it and see how you like it, this program helps eliminate buying of the wrong firearm. There are many different guns for a reason and each person will like a different feel and performance.

Anyone can come shoot at ourfacility for the daily charge.
