Folks across the country are gearing up for 4th of July barbecues, parties, picnics, firework displays, and, of course, patriotic songs that get queued up more on that day than on any other.

In a match for the most listened to star-spangled song, Lee Greenwood wins with flying colors. His God Bless the USA was the most streamed patriotic song on Spotify in 21 states last Fourth of July, with a particularly strong allegiance in the Midwest.

But Texas is different. Robert Earl Keen's “Fourth of July” came in as number one.

Other All-American favorites include Miley Cyrus' Party in the USA (played most in Maine, New Hampshire and North Dakota), Bruce Springsteen's Born in the USA (in Connecticut – sorry, Jersey!), and The Beach Boys' Surfin' USA, which reigned supreme in – you guessed it – Hawaii.
