Father Accused of Shooting Son on East Side

A case of family violence ends with one person shot.  Police say a 54-year-old father shot his son late Monday night on the 100 block of Greer.  That's where they found the 27-year-old son shot twice, once in each leg.  Police say the two had been fighting, possibly in a drug-induced rage.  Police say they're not sure who the aggressor was, and the father may have actually shot his son in an act of self-defense.  They have him detained, but no charges have yet been filed.  The son is expected to recover.
